The "Biomass to Power and Heat 2018" conference at the beginning of June on the Zittau campus is looking for answers to these questions.
Under the patronage of the Saxon State Minister for the Environment and Agriculture, Mr. Thomas Schmidt, the 7th symposium on the energetic use of biomass will take place at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences on June 6 and 7, 2018 in House Z IV.
The event is free of charge for students and employees of our university. However, registration is requested by May 28.
The "Biomass to Power and Heat" conference focuses on the practical introduction and scientific support of decentralized energy supply approaches with biomass and offers experts from industry and science a wide range of opportunities to exchange experiences and a podium for presenting their findings and scientific work.

The specialist presentations will be accompanied by a varied program. In addition to the familiar company and poster presentations in the foyer, this year's event will also include two workshops, a company exchange with speed dating and laboratory tours.
