What a party
On June 5, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the University of Engineering, followed by a campus party on the Zittauer Campus.
Since, as we all know, a good picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll just say a big thank you here.
Thank you for coming out in such large numbers on June 5 to celebrate with us at the big anniversary party, followed by the campus party. Thank you to all the volunteers, without whom this day would not have been possible. Thank you to all the creative thinkers and unconventional minds for the ideas and inspiration, and to all the students who stepped up on the spot to set up and take down the beer tables before and after the party. To the fantastic Technical Administration team, who—among many other things—transported two-meter-tall palm trees from Building ZII to the campus. Our thanks also go to all staff members from the faculties and projects. To the food stands for their diverse culinary offerings, the stage crew for their hard work (one staff member even stayed up all night on duty), our photographers and videographers, and our artists, who created the atmosphere of a big, peaceful family celebration with truly good music.
