Researcher Rico Winkler takes part in Radio ENERGY Sachsen's "Was bin ich" (What am I) career advice game.
Max can easily imagine how Rico Winkler’s research findings will apply to the future! However, he admits that the range of tasks Rico just described is completely beyond his imagination.
The research associate with the HSZG partnership LaNDER³ had just answered yes-or-no questions about his work from Max and Anna Music as part of the career guessing game “What Am I?” on Radio ENERGY Saxony’s morning show.
“Do you sell anything?” – “No!”
“Is your job a service?” – “Hmm, yes!”
“Is it something creative and out of the ordinary?” – “Definitely yes!”
In the end, the guessing team unfortunately couldn’t figure out Rico’s unusual and exciting profession, but they were more than happy to have him explain what his actual responsibilities are.
"Together with my colleagues, I am researching natural fiber-reinforced plastics. We investigate the entire life cycle of natural fibers, from harvesting in the field to fiber disintegration and processing into natural fiber-reinforced plastics through to recycling," Rico Winkler describes his interesting job at LaNDER³.
