There's a lot going on outdoors in East Saxony this weekend. Our students will be showcasing their artistic talents at the "Summer in the City" festival in Zittau next Saturday and interested parties can find out more about the university at two trade fairs - one of which is virtual.
Summer is coming to the town of Zittau on the weekend of July 10 and 11 with a "beer garden under palm trees", big band and harp, theater and cinema, clowns and acrobats, for young and old. And in tow is the summer fair on the fairground on Brückenstraße with attractive showmen, including a 40-meter Ferris wheel, bumper cars, Aqua King, Free Fall Tower and ship swing.
You can experience all this on the market square, in the Klosterhof, in the Fleischbänken, in the Johanniskirche, on the fairground on Brückenstraße and on the open-air stage in Weinaupark.
Our students will represent the university at this festival with music, magic and humor. We are delighted that four students from the university have agreed to take part in this festival.

The open-air careers market 2021 will take place on Saturday, July 10. From 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. around the tower at the airfield in Kamenz, interested pupils and their parents as well as other interested visitors can talk to the exhibitors in person about their companies, professions, fields of work and apprenticeships and make contacts.
The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will also be there. With our strikingly designed university bus and the inscription "study here", we will be clearly visible to everyone on the approx. 9,000 m² site. We invite you to try it out! The university will have two STEM trail stations where students can test and try things out for themselves.
Of course, food and drink will be available on the site with over 50 exhibitors.
The job market will take place on Saturday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.on the grounds of the airfield in Kamenz.
"What is your vocation?" This is how visitors are greeted on the website for the second virtual INSIDERTREFF. Career tests for those who are undecided, internships and vacation jobs for people who want to try things out, companies and institutions for training, studying or even a volunteer year - pupils can find all of this at the virtual trade fair event.
Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will be presenting itself in its own exhibition hall. Each of our faculties has its own stand. Flyers on the individual degree courses can be picked up from information stands - completely virtually. On the computer, visitors can move from stand to stand using the mouse and arrow keys. On mobile devices, the trade fair trip works by tilting and swiping.
The INSIDERTREFF virtual training fair will take place from July 5 to 11.
