Meeting point:HSZG in Weisswasser

Fruitful cooperation with industry, associations, institutions, administrative units and non-university research facilities characterizes the teaching and research work of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. 

In order to create a broad basis for cooperation, to support the establishment and maintenance of contacts in the north of the district of Görlitz and to tap into further resources, the 'Treffpunkt:HSZG' was set up in Weißwasser and officially opened in September last year.

Six months later, it is time to take stock: How successfully has the HSZG positioned itself in Weisswasser - how are the offers in demand by the regional players? How can cooperation between commercial enterprises and the university be organized in a meaningful and beneficial way?

The evening's speakers, the Vice-Rector of the HSZG, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Tobias Zschunke, Dr.-Ing. Daniel Seibt from the company VPC GmbH in Vetschau and Mr. Sascha Melcher, Managing Director of Niederschlesische Werkstätten Weißwasser gGmbH, will pass on their thoughts and ideas and answer questions from the participants in a subsequent panel discussion.
