Tourismusverein Görlitz e.V. cooperates with HSZG

A new cooperation agreement consolidates the collaboration between the tourism association and the tourism management courses at the university, which are based in Görlitz. The focus is on the promotion of student research projects and final theses that are dedicated to revitalizing the low season in Görlitz tourism. "Especially at the beginning of the year until around Easter, there are still large gaps in Görlitz's offerings for various reasons. We hope that our collaboration with the university will provide new impetus and approaches from which our members and, of course, Görlitz tourism as an industry can benefit in the future," explains Katrin Bartsch, Chairwoman of the association.

Professor Dr. Ute Pflicke also sees many advantages in the cooperation for her students. "Working on 'real' topics is always a very special challenge for the students. I'm delighted that we can provide them with exciting practical partners and, ideally, also open up opportunities for them on the regional job market.
