Great line-up for the first Vogtshof FESTival
The student club "Maus" is putting together a varied program featuring a poetry slam, a band contest, and top live acts.
From June 11 to 13, 2018, the “Vogtshof FESTival” will take place for the very first time in the courtyard of the Vogtshof student residence in Görlitz. The student club Maus has put together a diverse program featuring a poetry slam, a band contest, and an amazing lineup for Wednesday evening!
Monday, June 11, 2018 – Poetry Slam
The audience can look forward to a colorful mix of poems. The spectrum will range from totally deep to absolutely hilarious. To that end, we’ve put together a lineup that will make connoisseurs of the poetry slam scene cry with joy.
Tuesday, June 12, 2018 – Band Contest – Ready for something new?
This evening is all about fun, fame, and success! Support your band with a beer or enter as a band yourself—sign up here: http://www.vogtshof-festival.de/dienstag/
Wednesday, June 13, 2018 – Live on Stage – The Day of Days!
The Vogtshof Festival wants to show its best side right from its very first year. That’s why we’ve spared no expense to put together a wonderful lineup for you. Depending on the mood, the winning band from the band contest held the day before will kick things off.
Things will then continue in a more laid-back but still energetic vein with Kicker Dibs from Berlin and their mix of rock and a certain singer-songwriter charm.
Then it’s time to really work up a sweat, because Smile And Burn won’t hold back on punky guitar riffs, mosh-pit-inducing choruses, and stage diving. With four albums under their belt so far, these guys definitely have enough songs that they’ve surely always wanted to play in Germany’s easternmost city!
This year’s headliners are none other than Blackout Problems. As labelmates at Chimperator, Blackout Problems also promise to deliver big when you catch one of their many shows! With their second album, “KAOS,” under their belt, they’re coming to Görlitz with plenty of energy.
If you’re not dancing there, you’ve only got yourself to blame. PERIOD.
With the support of the Dresden Student Services and the Student Council, all students in the Dresden Student Services catchment area will be able to attend the FESTival free of charge. So there are no more excuses! Come on by and be part of it when the FESTival takes place for the first time at the Vogtshof student residence!
