Teaching Week in Riga
In October, 12 students visited the Banku Augstskola in Riga, Latvia.
From October 24 to October 28, 2022, 12 students from our university, along with Prof. Erik Hahn and Prof. Jörg Kroschel, attended Teaching Week at Banku Augstskola in Riga, Latvia.
The students attended classes / courses taught by professors from Latvia, Belgium, Estonia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Germany. Our professors gave presentations to an international audience on “Coordination of Social Security Systems in Europe” (Prof. Hahn) and “International Tax Law” (Prof. Kroschel). Guided tours of the Latvian National Art Museum and the National Library of Latvia were also offered to our students and professors. In addition, there was time for group dinners and a cocktail evening.
