Haus ZI - The renovated main building of the HSZG presented itself to the interested public.
Zittau, 11.09.2016: The highlight of the presentation of the listed building complex was the successful premiere of the renovation film. "It fills us with pride to bring this house back to life," reports Dipl.-Ing. Jens Krauße, the architect and project manager responsible at Heinle, Wischer und Partner architects. The challenges of filming the renovation were quite complex. The producer, Mr. Christian Fietze - CFilm Görlitz: "It is indeed difficult, because it is not a feature film where I create a film according to my ideas, but here I had to rely on when which construction work or divisions are completed and which interview partners I get available."
A total of around 450 visitors took the opportunity to find out about the results of the renovation work on site. During guided tours of the building, visitors were shown that there was more than just a renovated building to marvel at. More than 55 km of power cables and 73 km of data cables were laid in the building to supply the ultra-modern laboratories of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science' with energy and information.
