Launch of the "Saturday University for Students" event series for 2021/22
On Saturday, November 27, 2021, the “High School Students at the University on Saturday” event series for the 2021–22 school year will begin at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. The Faculty of Social Sciences will kick off the series with the topic “Anyone Can Do Social Work!” High school students in grades 9 through 13 will have the opportunity to get a taste of college life and experience what it’s like to be a student in a student-oriented workshop.
The event begins at 10:00 a.m. on the Görlitz campus (Brückenstraße 1, 02826 Görlitz). In the workshop, participants will collaboratively explore and practice three classic methods of Social Work—individual case work, social group work, and community work. Through this, participants will gain insight into the profession and the day-to-day work of social workers. The event ends at 12:30 p.m.
