Start of the event series "Student University on Saturday" 2021/22
On Saturday, November 27, 2021, the "Student University on Saturday" series of events will begin for the 2021/22 school year at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. The Faculty of Social Sciences will kick things off with the topic "Anyone can do social work!". High school and secondary school students in grades 9 to 13 will have the opportunity to get a taste of university life and try out student life in a student-oriented workshop.
The event starts at 10.00 a.m. on the Görlitz campus (Brückenstraße 1, 02826 Görlitz). In the workshop, three classic methods of social work - individual case help, social group work and community work - will be developed and tested together. Participants will gain an insight into the job description and day-to-day work of social workers. The event ends at 12.30 pm.
