Stylish through the winter semester

Dear students of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences,

The days are getting shorter and noticeably colder. The autumn blues are setting in. What better way to kick off the winter semester than with the prospect of a spectacular ball in a festive atmosphere, featuring live bands and a culinary journey of discovery?

The Public Relations Office, in cooperation with the Student Council of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, is giving away a total of 5 pairs of tickets to this year’s 12th Zittau Ball Night on November 4, 2017, at Zittau City Hall.

The tickets, valued at 53.00 EUR each, are sponsored by StuRa, and we would like to express our sincere thanks for their support!

What do you need to do?

Send an email by October 11, 2017, to marketing@hszg.de with the subject line “Zittauer Ballnacht 2017.” Rector Friedrich Albrecht will then draw the winners from among all entries and notify them accordingly.*

Eligibility requirements:

• As a contest participant, you must be enrolled at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences for the 2017–2018 winter semester. You are free to choose your guest.
• Please wear evening attire

Please note that a lavish evening buffet is included with your admission ticket. However, drinks must be paid for separately. Dancing experience is not required, but would be an advantage.

Look forward to an atmospheric setting at Zittau City Hall, and let yourself be swept away not only by the sounds of the Klangfarben Big Band and the DJ, but also by fantastic dance shows, musical interludes, and artistic performances that will keep you thoroughly entertained. While strolling through City Hall, be sure to visit the exhibition there. Enjoy the culinary delights of the buffet or cocktails at the Caribbean bar.

The Zittau Ball Night has increasingly become the city’s premier social event. Organized by the City of Zittau, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, the International University Institute Zittau, and the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater Zittau, it takes place annually in November.

You can already look forward to an unforgettable, elegant evening. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

For anyone interested who is ineligible for this contest: Advance ticket sales for the ball have begun and are taking place at the Zittauer Gebirge Nature Park Tourism Center, Markt 1.

*Winners will be selected by random drawing. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Winners will be notified by email. There is no entitlement to a prize. The decision is final and not subject to legal recourse.
