International teams train for the "NEISSE-ELEKTRO" finals
The international electrical engineering Olympiad "Neisse-Elektro", which was launched in 1995, is already entering its 22nd round this year.
In preparation for the event, which starts on March 19, over 30 students from Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic came together on February 23 for the first preparatory workshop. This time, the topic was resistance networks.
After an introductory lecture by the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Professor Klaus-Dieter Haim, the students got down to practical work in the new laboratories in House Z I. Just like the tasks in the final round, the workshop was held in English, which has been the common language for many years.
In recent years, several applicants - inspired by their experiences at "Neisse-Elektro" - have found their way to our university. We look forward to continuing this good tradition.
