, as well as other third-party funded projects, for the role of

Procurement Clerk (m/f/d)

- Reference: 49-2024 Procurement CircEcon -

to be filled on a fixed-term basis through December 31, 2027.

 

 

The future position holder will be responsible for managing the procurement and purchasing process for goods and services in projects carried out with third-party funding, as well as for preparing and conducting procurement procedures in accordance with applicable procurement law and the relevant grant awards.

The position (m/f/d) specifically involves the following duties:

  • Timely coordination of planned goods and services with the requesting departments and the Project Management Department at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, in accordance with the applicable grant awards,
  • Determining the type of procurement and establishing the resulting timelines,
  • Reviewing service descriptions and, if necessary, drafting specifications,
  • Preparing and sending out the procurement documents, Soliciting, reviewing, and evaluating bids, preparing the award memorandum, and awarding contracts within the framework of the procurement process,
  • Preparing and archiving the procurement documentation,
  • Compiling statistics.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • A completed relevant college degree, e.g., in the fields of public administration or Business Administration, and relevant professional experience in the aforementioned field of activity,
  • Relevant knowledge and professional experience in the application and implementation of public procurement law, specifically the currently applicable VgV, the SächsVergabeG, and thus the VOL and VOB,
  • Project experience in conducting procurement procedures, particularly in compliance with the issued grant award notices,
  • Consulting and communication skills to conduct negotiations with the requesting departments at the HSZG and with bidders regarding the measures to be implemented.

In addition, the following are desirable:

  • experience dealing with the organizational structure of public administration,
  • foreign language skills,
  • good knowledge of project management and the administration of grant funds.

Further information

Salary for employees covered by the collective bargaining agreement will be determined in accordance with EG 9b TV-L, provided the applicant meets the professional qualifications. The primary place of work is Zittau. A probationary period will be agreed upon.
