Prince Edward of Great Britain congratulates former HSZG student Brit Knop on her successful Master's degree.
Brit Knop, a graduate of the Görlitz Bachelor's degree program "Culture and Management", successfully continued her studies at the University of Bath in the field of "International Relations and European Political Science". On December 7, 2016, she also received the congratulations of the University Chancellor, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex, on her Master's degree.
Brit Knop comes from Dresden, where her parents run a car repair shop. During her studies in Görlitz, she completed internships in Naples at the German Consulate and the Goethe Institute, at the British and Canadian Embassies in Berlin and worked in a permanent position at the American Embassy in Berlin - before starting her Master's degree.
The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences joins Prince Edward in extending its congratulations. We are delighted that the intercultural study program in Görlitz has laid the foundations for her successful start to an international career. Brit Knop will be working in Jordan from January 2017 for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ, formerly GTZ), which is funded by the German government.
