"Ohrbooten" and "Budzillus" rock Zittau

Following the Open University Day, this Saturday the "Campus rockt! 2015" will take place.

A university also needs a proper Campus Open Air - what a stroke of luck for the students of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, because they are celebrating at two locations! After a fantastic Campus Open Air last Friday in Görlitz, the

on Saturday, June 13 in Zittau. Not as usual directly at the university but in the garage courtyard of the Star-Club Zittau.

Due to the construction site of the Frauenhofer Institute, the previous location was no longer available. The charming "emergency solution" in the garage courtyard at the Star-Club Zittau offers many advantages, as a large part of the necessary infrastructure is already available and can be used. In addition, the listed garage complex within sight of the university also offers wonderful possibilities, such as accommodating the food stands in the large garages and providing numerous motifs for the creative illumination of the site. The event starts at 17:00 with a varied line-up for every taste.

This year's headliners are

undefinedOHRBOOTEN, whose music mixes elements of reggae, ragga, alternative and hip hop. This band has been grooving their way through the music world for 12 years now. Their very first demo recordings caught the attention of the Toten Hosen, who signed them to their own record label JKP in 2005 and released three albums. MTV puts them in rotation, and at festivals such as Rock am Ring, Hurricane and Chiemsee Reggae Summer they amaze audiences with their ground-breaking energy.

Budzillus aus Berlin

from Berlin have also become one of Berlin's most successful bands in recent years with their mix of swing, surf, punk and a pound of Eastern European soul.

Power rock made in Germany is offered by

from Nuremberg, but local artists such as rapper Porta One and singer-songwriter Schraubenyeti from Görlitz are also represented. The event will be hosted by comedian Thomas Jurisch from Dresden, who is already known to many Zittau residents from his poetry slam at the Star Club.

Campus rockt! will be catered for by the student café of the Christian Weise Gymnasium, Emil e.V. and F-Matrix e.V.

Admission is free from 17:00 - 18:00!

After the open air concert, there will be an after show party with DJ T-Cool and Deejay DaRoxX in the Star Club from around 11pm.

Erfolgsgarantie: Bereits 2013 organisierte der F-Matrix e.V. ein grandioses Campus rockt. Headliner waren damals die ITCHY POOPZKID
