Nordakademie Foundation offers funding opportunities

In just a few years, NORDAKADEMIE University of Business in Elmshorn-Hamburg has achieved a unique position among Germany’s 450 universities. As a specialist in Business Administration and Engineering Management, with more than 2,000 students, it has consistently ranked at the top of the CHE university rankings for years. It was one of the first German universities to receive institutional accreditation.

The MBA degree programme received the FIBAA Premium Seal in 2008. Since 2002, Professor Clemens Renker from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has been teaching the modules “Sales & Services” and “Marketing in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” as a visiting professor in the MBA degree programme. Professor Renker has now been appointed to the NORDAKADEMIE Foundation Board by the university’s governing and decision-making bodies. The founding rector and current chairman of the board of NORDAKADEMIE, Prof. Dr. Georg Plate, has once again introduced an innovation for his university with the establishment of the NORDAKADEMIE Foundation. This foundation serves as a unique platform for promoting science and research, education and training, as well as art and culture—from concerts to open-air festivals—in a highly targeted manner with international reach.

Research projects, symposia, congresses, and conferences can provide answers to current challenges: education and research, digitalization and globalization, the transformation of the economy, society, and businesses, energy and climate policy, Industry 4.0, and European and global integration.

For relevant practical projects and research conducted by professors and doctoral candidates affiliated with Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, this nonprofit NORDAKADEMIE Foundation can also serve as a third-party funding source. Grants are provided to cover personnel and material costs.
