The four-semester Master's degree course in "Integrated Management" at the
Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences started in the 2015/16 winter semester . It is the "sister course" of the three-semester Master's degree course "Integrated Management Systems", in which the first students were enrolled in March 2015.
The group of students on the new course is not only interdisciplinary, but also international. The nine students are made up of four energy and environmental engineers, two biologists, two economists specializing in environmental and energy management and one agricultural manager. Four of the students come from Kazakhstan, from the German-Kazakh University (DKU) in Almaty, with which there are long-standing cooperative relationships.
The reasons why the students opted for this course are very different: because...
- " ... it is a great combination of technology, natural sciences and management and is very practice-oriented",
- " ... this degree program is only available at the HSZG",
- " ... this Master's degree course is very application-oriented and combines many areas of management. In addition, the course complements my specialist knowledge with interdisciplinary content and gives me better career prospects."
What students say about the course:
"I feel very comfortable and well advised/taught in the familiar circle of professors and students"
"Good seminar group with a pleasant working environment, as well as professors who are always open to problems/questions"
"...I like this course because we have a lot of practical tasks"
"I am very satisfied, especially because you get a chance from different Bachelor's degree courses here"
"A pleasant, learning-oriented working atmosphere, complemented by competent lecturers who care about my learning success"
