New Bachelor's Degree Programme in Business Administration at HSZG
A bachelor's degree program in "Business Administration" will be offered for the first time in Zittau starting in the 2019–2020 winter semester.
Starting in the 2019/20 winter semester, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will introduce a 7-semester bachelor’s degree program in “Business Administration” at its Zittau campus.
The new on-campus program is aimed at high school graduates with a high school diploma or the university of applied sciences entrance qualification who enjoy learning about economic concepts and making business decisions.

In addition to a comprehensive theoretical education, the problem-solving and teamwork skills essential for everyday professional life are taught through practice-oriented coursework. The program is supplemented by a 12-week industrial placement. Depending on their personal interests, students can customize their course schedule in the specialized phase of the program from the following Business Administration subdisciplines: accounting and taxation, finance, Controlling, marketing, leadership and human resources, and regional management.
With a Bachelor degree in hand, students hold a degree that qualifies them for professional practice. Those who wish to further deepen their acquired knowledge theoretically can enroll in the Master's degree programme in international management at the Zittau campus, which is offered by the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with TU Dresden/IHI Zittau.
