A new round of the Germany Scholarship is starting!
Students and first-year students can apply online again from May 23 to June 19.
All students at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences who would like to use 300 euros per month to enable themselves to focus entirely on their studies—and who want to see their academic achievements and social engagement recognized—should pay good attention now.
With the start of the new application period from May 23 through June 19, 2022, they can once again apply for one of the coveted Germany Scholarships at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
Applications for a Germany Scholarship must be submitted exclusively online. The online application portal provided by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research is available for this purpose.
When the application period begins, a website will feature an external link directing applicants to the DSTIP application server. This link will be activated at the start of the application period, from May 23 (9:00 a.m.) through June 19, 2022 (11:59 p.m.).
The application must be uploaded to the application portal in its entirety, including all required attachments, within this time frame. Only then will it be considered valid and processed accordingly.
The Germany Scholarship supports talented and dedicated students at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. In addition to good grades and academic performance, social engagement and exceptional personal achievements—such as successfully overcoming obstacles in one’s educational journey or volunteering with organizations—are also taken into account when awarding the scholarship. Awards and prizes received are also considered. In addition to academic achievements, the focus is on the student’s character.
Anyone who is enrolled at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences or is making an application for a place at university is eligible to apply.
The Deutschlandstipendium amounts to 300 euros per month. Of this amount, 150 euros are provided by private sponsors such as companies, foundations, alumni, and other private individuals. The remaining 150 euros are provided by the federal government.
The funds are paid directly to the scholarship recipients by the universities. The scholarship is awarded regardless of income and can also be received in addition to BAföG (German financial aid for students). The standard award period covers one academic year (September 1, 2022 – August 31, 2023).
