Riding down the Jeschken on a scooter

In the video series *life@hszg*, our students explore recreational activities in the Three-Country Corner. This time, they’re heading into the Czech mountains on a scooter.

Studying at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences isn’t just about sitting in lectures, writing 'written assignments / semester papers / term papers' while the sun is shining outside, and waiting in line at the cafeteria at noon. It’s also about living here. And life around the university is vibrant.

We want to take you there in our video series life@hszg. Our students are trying out the wide variety of recreational activities that our wonderful “Three-Country Corner” has to offer and are filming short videos about their personal impressions and experiences.

In our first video, business administration student Nadja heads to the Czech Republic with a few friends to go wakeboarding. She overcomes language barriers, is bound to get pretty wet, and her arms are killing her by the end of the day. That’s exactly why it was an unforgettable day.

For the second life@hszg video, Nadja and her fellow students headed to the Jeschken and tried riding a scooter down from the highest peak of the Jeschken Mountains.

But see for yourself!
