STEM project week at the HSZG

The MINT project week of the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Löbau is taking place at the HSZG for the 3rd time.

The math and science project week for the 8th-grade advanced class at the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium in Löbau, held at the Zittau-Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, will take place for the third time this year from September 14 to 18 in Zittau and Görlitz.

In particular, the project presentations over the past two years have demonstrated the level of commitment and the high quality of work with which students—who have only just entered 8th grade—are able to take their first steps in scientific research.

The students in this year’s 8th-grade class 8/5 are also demonstrating in class, through their participation in various competitions, and overall through their conduct at the high school, the potential of this form of support for gifted and interested young mathematicians and scientists. This year, our colleagues from the university are offering the following project assignments to these curious students:

On September 18, 2015, the students will present the results of their project work starting at 11:00 a.m. in the AGORA of the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium in Löbau. Afterward, awards will be presented for the good poster and the good presentation. The
