Student canteen and Library Anniversary
10 Years of the Student Canteen and Library on the Görlitz Campus.
The striking red building in the center of the Görlitz campus has been there since October 2006; the student canteen occupies the ground floor and the library the upper floor. To mark its 10th anniversary, there is a small exhibition on the history of the library in Görlitz, featuring interesting facts and figures about the new building, as well as some quirky tidbits from everyday library life. Anyone who’s interested and would like to win a prize can also take part in a quiz about the library. This small exhibition will be on display from October 17, 2016, through the end of November 2016. And by the way, it’s definitely worth visiting the student canteen on October 17, as it has a little surprise in store for its customers that day.
