Pilot Project: Opening the Görlitz Student Canteen Dining Hall as a Space for Socializing, Communication, and Learning
Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is pleased to introduce a new offering to its students as part of a pilot project organized by the 'Studentenwerk' (student union) in Dresden and HSZG:
From January 27, 2025, through August 31, 2025, the student canteen at the Görlitz campus will be open to students as a space for socializing, communication, and study. With this initiative, the university aims to offer its students additional opportunities for studying and interacting, in addition to the library.
The dining room usually closes at the same time as the library:
- Regular: Monday to Thursday until 6 p.m., Friday until 3 p.m.
- Extended hours during the examination period (February 3-15):
- Monday to Friday until 8 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students please note that opening hours may be restricted, especially during the lecture and exam-free periods.
Information for Use
To ensure that this service remains available to all students in the long term, we ask that you use it responsibly:
