This is the motto of the first "Christmas Closing Swap" of the year in the canteen on 13.01.2016.
Under this motto, the first "WSV" of the year will take place on Wednesday, 13.01.2016 between 11.00 and 13.00 in the foyer of the canteen in Zittau.
Every year, we spend a lot of money on Christmas presents and are given things that we didn't have on our wish list. Unfortunately, some of the well-intentioned gifts were only "well-intentioned" after all. These gifts often gather dust on our shelves or are forgotten in our drawers. It is not uncommon for us to sort them out years later and throw them in the bin.
We want to put an end to this now. For every present that we no longer want, there is someone who is looking for that very thing. We just have to find the right person.
This is exactly the idea of a swap shop and if someone is found to swap with, then we are even doing something good for our environment. By swapping, we extend the life cycle of a product and can therefore not only avoid waste but also reduce the energy and resources needed to manufacture new products.
