Capital of Culture 2025 exhibition at the university

Like six other cities in Germany, Zittau is preparing an application for the title of "Capital of Culture 2025".

Today, Tuesday at 3 p.m., Mayor Zenker and the Rector of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. phil. Friedrich Albrecht, will open the exhibition of the 'kulturhauptstadt2024.at' project in the Peter-Dierich-Haus of the university in Zittau (House Z IV). The exhibition will be on display from April 10 to May 31. The light-flooded foyer of the large lecture hall building on Theodor-Körner-Allee is ideal for presenting the exhibition panels. The exhibition made its first appearance during the Mayor's New Year's reception on January 10 in the theater. Visitors were given a good insight into the potential of an application process. At the same time, there were many requests to be able to view the exhibition at their leisure - this is now being accommodated together with the university. Background: One city each from Germany and Slovenia will be European Capital of Culture in 2025. Like six other cities in Germany, Zittau is preparing an application for the title.
