Artificial intelligence in practice
HSZG students contribute to the development of the Nysa Euroregion at the 2nd ACC Forum 2025 in Liberec.
Students from the International Business Communication and Mechanical Engineering programs at HSZG attended the 2nd ACC Forum 2025 in Liberec from May 19 to 23, 2025. The theme was: Artificial Intelligence in Practice—Its Contribution to the Development of the Neisse Euroregion.
Since 1991, the Academic Coordination Center of the Neisse Euroregion (ACC) has been bringing together universities from the German-Polish-Czech border region to foster exchange, research, and joint projects.
This time, more than 50 participants from six universities (the Zittau International University Institute of TU Dresden, the Technical University of Liberec, the Wroclaw University of Economics branch in Hirschberg, the University of Applied Sciences in Hirschberg, Saxony Cooperative State University in Bautzen, and Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences) explored how artificial intelligence can contribute to the development of the Neisse Euroregion.
In the international groups, they worked on a poster on which they recorded all the experiences they had gained from the informative workshops. They covered everything from how AI is changing the world of work to applications in human resources and transformation applications. Another highlight was the visit to the ŠKODA plant in Mladá Boleslav, where the students visited the museum with the eventful history of the company, but also gained a valuable insight into the applications of AI in the company. All in all, an intensive week with great participants from three countries.
