Cooperation with UNECON intensified
Prof. Nikitina from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics visits the Faculty W
From January 22 to 28, 2018, Prof. Tatjana Nikitina, holder of the Chair of Finance, Banking, and Insurance at St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON), Russia, was a guest at the Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering Management.
The visit was primarily intended to further strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions, which is based on a joint cooperation agreement. Prof. Nikitina was warmly welcomed by the Dean, Prof. Straßberger, and Prof. Renker, who coordinates the cooperation with UNECON.
To kick off her visit, Prof. Nikitina gave a guest lecture to Prof. Straßberger and his students on the development of the Russian financial sector since 1990 and its current characteristics.
The program continued with meetings at the university’s University Executive Board and International Office to discuss, among other things, opportunities for future faculty and student exchanges.
Finally, Prof. Nikitina, Prof. Renker, and Prof. Straßberger discussed ideas for future joint research projects.
Prof. Nikitina’s visit to the university was funded by Erasmus.
