Prof. Nikitina from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics visits the Faculty W
From January 22 to 28, 2018, Prof. Tatjana Nikitina, Chair of Finance, Banking and Insurance, from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON), Russia, visited the Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering Management.
The visit primarily served to further deepen the cooperation between the two institutions, which is based on a joint cooperation agreement. Prof. Nikitina was warmly welcomed by the Dean, Prof. Straßberger, and Prof. Renker, who coordinates the cooperation with UNECON.
To kick off her visit, Prof. Nikitina gave a guest lecture to Prof. Strassberger and his students on the development of the Russian financial sector since 1990 and its special features today.
Subsequently, talks at the Rectorate and the International Office of the university were on the agenda in order to discuss, among other things, the possibilities for future exchanges of lecturers and students.
Finally, approaches for future joint research projects were discussed between Prof. Nikitina, Prof. Renker and Prof. Straßberger.
Prof. Nikitina's stay at the university was funded by Erasmus.
