Less than eight weeks until the graduation ceremony!

There are just under eight weeks left until this year’s HSZG central graduation ceremony, and preparations are in full swing.

“Some time ago,” we welcomed the classes listed below to our university at the formal enrolment ceremony. Since then, intensive years of studying together have passed, which have significantly influenced the personal development of our graduates.

The successful completion of our students’ studies is always a special occasion to celebrate together! On April 21, 2018, the central graduation ceremony of the Zittau University of Applied Sciences will therefore take place inGörlitz, for which graduates from the following classes can still register by March 31, 2018, at www.hszg.de/absolventen.

An eventful day awaits you—and with it, an unforgettable graduation celebration. Following the formal disenrolment (from university) in the auditorium (Hochwaldstraße 21a, Zittau) starting at 1:30 p.m., the tree-naming ceremony will take place in Zittau’s Student Park beginning around 4:00 p.m.

In the evening, the Zittau Volkshaus (Äußere Weberstraße 6, Zittau) will open its doors at 6:00 p.m. for this year’s graduation ball.

We look forward to welcoming this year’s graduates and their families to Zittau for an unforgettable night at the prom. But it’s not just the former students who are invited. University staff members also have the opportunity to bid farewell to the classes they have supported in teaching and research during the evening event. Together, we want to celebrate our students’ graduation, but also share a few anecdotes about the past academic years in a relaxed atmosphere and hit the dance floor to the lively, rhythmic beats of the Big ‘O’ Band.

To ensure we can celebrate not only in grand style but also on a large scale, the organizers are asking for your help in reaching out to the relevant graduates and university members.

The ticket price for the university ball is 35.00 EUR per person. This includes, among other things, a welcome glass of sparkling wine, a sumptuous, delicious buffet, and an unforgettable performance by the Big ‘O’ Band from Liberec.
