KIA students and trainees at the HSZG

At the start of the 2016–2017 academic year, four KIA students also began their training at the University to become electronics technicians for devices and systems as part of the Cooperative Study Program with Integrated Training (KIA).
Two of them have chosen to study in the KIA degree programme in electrical power systems. One is Natjiss Azelmad from Morocco, who completed the 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college) at our affiliated institute in Leipzig, and the other is Felix Walter, who earned his university entrance qualification at the Vocational School Center in Zittau.
Mario Helm from the Philipp-Melanchthon Evening High School in Bautzen and Ondrej Jonas from the German High School in Liberec have decided to pursue the KIA (sandwich-style) degree programme in automation and mechatronics. The latter took advantage of an internship opportunity at our University to prepare for his studies and was thus able to familiarize himself with the educational and academic conditions at the University in advance.
In addition, two young women, Claudia Tarras and Jessica Kluttig, have begun their three-year vocational training program to become office management assistants.
