New KIA students and trainees began their training/studies at the HSZG in the 2016 winter semester.
At the start of the 2016/2017 academic year, four KIA students also began their training at the university to become electronics technicians for devices and systems as part of the cooperative study program with integrated training (KIA).
Two of them have opted to study on the KIA Electrical Energy Systems course. The first is Natjiss Azelmad from Morocco, who completed the preparatory college at our affiliated institute in Leipzig, and Felix Walter, who obtained his university entrance qualification at the vocational school center in Zittau.
Mario Helm from Philipp-Melanchthon Abendgymnasium Bautzen and Ondrej Jonas from Deutsches Gymnasium in Liberec have decided to study on the KIA course in automation and mechatronics. The latter took advantage of an internship to prepare for his studies at our university and was thus able to find out about the training and study conditions at the university in advance.
In addition, two young women, Claudia Tarras and Jessica Kluttig, have started their three-year vocational training as office management assistants.
