Canceled: ETK GOES JAZZ goes into the 2nd round!

It's that time again: after the first three tributes at the Energy Technology Cabinet (ETK) were a great success at the end of last year and demand continues to grow, a new edition is inevitable.

While the first event in October was more of an insider tip, the second event in November attracted a good number of students as well as employees to listen to the jazzy saxophone sounds of the head of the laboratory. The third event in December was more of a sure-fire success, as the existing jazz fans were joined by other jazz enthusiasts, filling the ETK to capacity.

For the upcoming tribute, the director of the ETK has chosen the theme of Blues 'n' Jazz. Jazz is unthinkable without the blues and the jazz literature knows a huge number of jazz pieces that are based on the blues or are original blues. The selected pieces also show the creative handling and further development of the original blues into jazz, including its various facets.

As a jazz band is unfortunately not available, the saxophonist resorts to so-called play-alongs. The accompanying music comes from the CD, played by a professional band. As with the second tribute, there will probably be another surprise guest who will join in the action.
