Around 350 entrepreneurs and managers from Central Germany, Germany and all over Europe attended seminars, guided tours and networking events.
On Saturday, the campus in Görlitz became the MiRKo Academy. The guests clearly felt at home at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. After a brief welcome address by Rector Prof. Dr. Friedrich Albrecht, the programme began with a keynote by Prof. Dr. Matthias Schmidt on the topic "Work Psychology 4.0 - Opportunities and Risks of Digitalization". Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is an important regional hub in the field of knowledge transfer and develops tailor-made further education programs through its intensive contacts with industry. On the other hand, the direct exchange with practitioners can also bring current research ideas to the university.
"The MiRKo 2017 was a complete success and the people of Görlitz are great hosts," said Alexander Kulitz, Federal Chairman of the Junior Chamber Germany. The Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland is the largest association of young entrepreneurs and managers in Germany. They come from all sectors of the economy and are under the age of 40.
