What do good academic performance, social engagement, active participation in university committees, successfully overcoming obstacles in one’s life so far, or even awards for special talents have in common? — The prospect of receiving a Germany Scholarship at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
The scholarship program supports talented and committed students in all fields of study with a monthly stipend of 300 euros. In addition to good academic performance, the willingness to take on responsibility or to overcome personal challenges—in other words, the applicants’ character—also plays an important role in the selection process.
Anyone who is enrolled at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences or is making an application for a place at university is eligible for funding.
Interested students can still submit their applications online for a Germany Scholarship at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences until August 16, 2020.

The application must be uploaded to the application portal in its entirety, including all required attachments, by that date. Only then will it be considered valid.

The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of 300 euros for a full academic year and is jointly funded by sponsors (companies, foundations, associations, and private individuals) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
It is paid directly to the scholarship recipients by the universities. The grant is awarded regardless of income and can also be received in addition to BAföG (German financial aid for students). The standard award period covers one academic year (September 1, 2020 – August 31, 2021).
