On April 11, representatives from the International Office of the Technical University of Liberec (TUL) visited Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG). The aim of the visit was to plan the organization of a joint international ERASMUS+StaffWeek in spring 2019. The one-week Staff Week is aimed at international offices of universities in Germany and abroad and offers, among other things, the opportunity to exchange information on current ERASMUS projects, to attend topic-related workshops and, for example, to present one's own home institution at study fairs.
The planned week will be rounded off by a sightseeing program of the Liberec region and the cities of Görlitz and Zittau.
Together with representatives of the International Office of our university, the group visited various university facilities after the meeting, such as the transparent mechatronics laboratory, library, canteen and a hall of residence of the student union.
The guests were impressed by the modern facilities available to students in Zittau. The next meeting of the preparatory team with a return visit to TUL will take place in August 2018. The planned ERASMUS Staff Week is the first of its kind to be organized jointly by TUL and HSZG. Further information and the program of the Staff Week are expected to be announced in a separate announcement in October 2018.
