“Continuing Education in Engineering Didactics for Faculty Members Successfully Completed!
The goal of this continuing education program was to further develop the engineering didactics competencies of our university staff in the STEM faculties. To this end, this series of events was designed in accordance with the guidelines of the Berlin Society for Engineering Education and in cooperation with the Institute for Vocational Education at the Technical University of Dresden.
From December 2016 to January 2018, nine participants completed the series of events. At the successful closing event held at the Seifhennersdorf Windmill last weekend, the participants learned about the Design Thinking method, among other things, and successfully applied it. A key part of this method involved expert interviews. We would like to take this opportunity to once again extend our heartfelt thanks to the company representatives from ENSO, Stadtwerke Zittau GmbH, Siemens, Vattenfall Deutschland, and the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz for their active support.

Incidentally, the next session of the continuing education program in engineering pedagogy for teachers is scheduled to begin in September 2019. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us. You can find more information here:
