A team of five educational-psychological counselors works at the Psychosocial Counseling Center (PSB) of the Studentenwerk Dresden. It is particularly important to the PSB staff to identify personal and social resources in order to develop and strengthen students' personal responsibility and self-organization.
Both the Psychosocial Counseling Center and the Social Counseling and Legal Counseling Services of the Studentenwerk Dresden offer regular appointments for students in Zittau and Görlitz.

Online survey on canteen use underway
A large online survey on the use of the Studentenwerk Dresden canteens is running until November 12. With this survey, the Studentenwerk would like to find out why and how often students use the different canteens and what reasons speak against regular use of the canteens.
Canteens in Zittau and Görlitz - campaigns in November
From November 6 to 10, the Görlitz canteen will be offering different schnitzel creations every day.
From 13 to 17 November, the Zittau canteen team will be inspired by recipes from its neighbors in Poland and the Czech Republic.
Studentenwerk Dresden supports around 47,000 students at seven universities and one state academy in Dresden, Zittau and Görlitz. The range of services includes student financing, catering in canteens and cafeterias, dormitory management, cultural promotion and international exchanges. There is also a social and legal counseling service, a psychosocial counseling center, two day care centers, short-term childcare and counseling for students with children.
