The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is hosting the 2nd Annual Alumni Reunion on September 19 and 20, 2015. The event will be attended by graduates who studied at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and its predecessor institutions, the Zittau University of Engineering and the Zittau Technical University.
During the opening ceremony, graduates will share their professional journeys since graduation. In their welcoming remarks, the rector will discuss the development of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, and the director of the Zittau office of the Chamber of Engineering and Commerce will outline the economic development of the Upper Lusatia region.
Graduates will have the opportunity to reminisce in the university’s laboratories and buildings and learn about improvements to the facilities.
The evening event will take place at the WestparkCenter. On Sunday, there will be a group excursion by narrow-gauge train to Oybin, followed by a hike to the pottery workshop.
