On Saturday, April 14, the last Student University of this school year will take place. This time the Faculty of Social Sciences is organizing the program under the title: "I see something you don't see - Interactive and practical introduction to the psychology of perception".
Interested grammar school and secondary school students from Year 9 onwards can find out what perception and psychology have to do with each other, how perception works and how it is that we cannot always rely on what we see, hear and feel.
After an interactive introductory lecture, the participants walk through two different courses. The first explores their own perception under normal conditions. The second opens up the view of what it is like to live with physical impairments and limited perceptual possibilities.
The event will take place on the Görlitz campus (Brückenstraße 1, 02826 Görlitz) in House G I (Bluebox), Lecture Hall 1.01 . It starts at 10.00 am and ends at 12.30 pm. If you would like to join us on April 14, you can register here for the Student University on Saturday.
