The new "live@hszg" podcast from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences kicks off with the six-part audio series "Hope and M/Rage."
Podcasts are all the rage. The diverse, fascinating topics that our university tackles every day in research, teaching, and within the region belong right there. The new podcast *live@hszg* aims to contribute to this by showcasing, in audio form, everything that’s happening at Germany’s easternmost university.
Kicking things off is a six-part audio series from the Research Institute for Transformation, Housing, and Social Spatial Development (TRAWOS) titled “Hope and M/Rage.”
What is young women’s understanding of social participation? How do they want to participate in structural change? Jan Schilling, radio producer and journalist, speaks with women in Lausitz about their opportunities to shape and implement their ideas—politically, entrepreneurially, and culturally. What does the region need, and what does it offer, to attract women as change-makers? Finally , Jan Schilling and project manager Julia Gabler reflect on the contributions and discuss whether women in Lausitz desire a special or different form of social participation.
