An explosive mix - on Saturday, 29.10.2016, jazz meets technology in the high-voltage hall of the HSZG.
It crackles and sparks and catches the ear in the high-voltage hall of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. With the program "Jazz meets technology", the HSZG offers its visitors pure musical (high) excitement on Saturday, 29 October 2016, at the 6th Zittau Culture Night at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. When the jazzy melodies and rhythms of the "Mandau Quartet" are combined with energetic experiments at Hochwaldstraße 2a, there will not only be something for the eyes, but also something for the ears. An event that will keep you awake, as a colorful program awaits all culture lovers and night owls until 11:00 pm in a total of 21 institutions in the city of Zittau.
Cultural and educational institutions, such as the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, as well as churches in the town of Zittau open their doors in the evening hours from 17:00 to 23:00 and welcome their guests with very special offers.
Visitors can take a stroll through the facilities, listen to music and readings, sing together or view exhibitions, historical manuscripts and plays. Guided tours entice with interesting discoveries and guests have the opportunity to make their own jewelry.
Young culture enthusiasts can try their hand at the instrument workshop in the building of the future district music school or go on an animal treasure hunt in the Villa children's and youth center.
The event is organized by the Zittau city administration in cooperation with the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and other institutions in the city.
