The Akademischer Chor Zittau/Görlitz e.V. supports musicians who have been severely affected financially by the coronavirus crisis. A campaign has been launched on the crowdfunding platform startnext.com to collect donations for a project: works by Zittau composer Neithard Bethke are to be recorded in a small ensemble for organ plus solo instrument in the near future. The association is thus creating an attractive offer for all those involved - the performing artists can take part in a challenging music project with a small ensemble in the near future (early summer 2020) and at the same time create high-quality recordings that can be used in music marketing.
A demanding and challenging project that provides timely support for musicians who have been hit hard financially. We provide a space for solo performances. With the idea of starting now with concert recordings for organ + solo instrument, we show that artists absolutely want to successfully realize high-quality projects, they are not supplicants. We are here to help.
Please publish this call on your channels - the project is primarily aimed at musicians from the Dresden and East Saxony area! We are also very pleased that our project can run as part of the "startnext Corona relief campaign". We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
The fundraising campaign runs until May 14, 2020, and even small amounts can help!
