On April 28, schoolgirls can get a taste of STEM professions at the HSZG on Girls' Day.
At the nationwide Girls' Day on April 28, 2022, schoolgirls can get a taste of STEM professions that are atypical for girls. The aim is to put an end to gender stereotypes for "non-gender-specific" professions.
In the Materials Engineering Lab, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers insights into the wide range of opportunities in the fields of energy and environmental engineering and Mechanical Engineering for all high school girls who want to help shape a sustainable future and are interested in researching alternative raw materials and processes.
When: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Where: Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Building Z VIIc, Halls 8–10, Lausitzer Weg 2, 02763 Zittau
At the Natural Fiber Center at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, interested high school students will learn, among other things, how we can live and produce using what nature provides in the future, and how we can protect our environment in the process.
When: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Where: LaNDER³ Natural Fiber Center, Hochwaldstraße 14, 02763 Zittau
At the Institute of Process Engineering, Process Automation and Metrology (IPM ), prospective students get to know Anastasia and find out first-hand what brought the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science student from Greece to Zittau. The institute will use our cobots to demonstrate how to get a robot to work together with a human.
