Helping hands needed in care!

The district of Görlitz is currently particularly affected by the coronavirus with two inpatient care facilities. Every helping hand is needed.

The district is therefore launching a call for volunteers to recruit additional carers to look after senior citizens at home and residents in care facilities and to set up a pool of helpers.

We are particularly looking for people with training or knowledge in a nursing, medical or social profession.

Interested students and employees of the HSZG who have additional free capacities in addition to digitally supported teaching and mobile work, please contact anfragen-corona(at)kreis.gr.de by e-mail, stating the following details: 

• Name, telephone number or e-mail address,
• Place of residence (including radius in which deployment would be possible),
• professional qualification,
• Experience in nursing yes/no,
• Willingness to provide direct care and nursing for Covid-19 infected persons yes/no,
• Date of birth (deployment for Covid patients only possible if under 65 years of age),
• Time and duration of availability.

Note: The data will be passed on to the providers.

The district of Görlitz is responsible for placing interested parties with the providers of the facilities.
