Neisse-Electro" Olympics

In January, eight pupils from Decin, Varnsdorf and Zittau met for a workshop in the large laboratory hall.

In preparation for the "Neisse-Elektro" Olympiad, eight pupils met for a workshop on January 21, 2020. Electrical networks were measured in the large laboratory hall and compared with the calculations. Schools from Decin, Varnsdorf and Zittau were represented.

In recent years, around 1,000 pupils from the region around the border triangle of Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany have taken part in the Olympiad. The Electrical Engineering Olympiad has been taking place since 1995.

This year, for the 26th time, sixty pupils will meet on March 28 to solve tasks from the basic field of electrical engineering. The tasks from previous years can be found on the event's homepage. Together with the English-language formulary that is given to the students, this makes it possible to prepare well for the exam. In the schools there is special support and preparation by the teachers for this competition. We at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science would like to thank the teachers for their support and wish all participants a good preparation and an exciting Olympiad day.
