Golden jubilee

50 years after graduating, electrical engineers from the class of 1965 came together at their old place of work.

Zittau: Half a century after successfully completing their studies, the seasoned electrical engineering graduates from the class of 1965 came together at their old place of work. The reunion was organized by the former mayor of Zittau, Gerd Arnold, himself a graduate of this class.
The Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Prof. Klaus-Dieter Haim, welcomed the group personally and explained the university's further development courses.

The guided tour through the newly renovated building of the electrical engineering department, which offers students the best study conditions, was very well received by the jubilarians. The head laboratory engineer of the electrical engineering department, Dr. Wolfgang Menzel, pointed out both the historical features of the building complex and the extensive technical innovations in the laboratories, which are currently still under construction.
