The first "Intercultural Week" at Studium-fundamentale took place at the end of April. Russian students from Kostroma State Nekrasov University (RUS) came to Zittau/Görlitz for the first time. German students have been taking part in an intercultural summer school in Kostroma as part of the Studium fundamentale for some time now. For more than ten years, the two universities have maintained a diverse academic relationship as part of a university partnership. The summer school takes place in Kostroma in the fall and now has its first counterpart in Zittau/Görlitz in the spring. The program of events includes lectures, seminars for short papers and presentations, specialist observations, as well as regional studies tutorials and specialist excursions on site.
