Joint study week

The first “Intercultural Week” as part of the Studium-fundamentale program took place at the end of April. For the first time, Russian students from Nekrasov State University in Kostroma (RUS) came to Zittau/Görlitz for the event. For quite some time now, German students in the Studium Fundamentale program have been participating in an intercultural summer school in Kostroma. As part of a higher education partnership, there have been diverse academic ties between the two universities for more than ten years. The summer school takes place in Kostroma in the fall and now has its first spring counterpart in Zittau/Görlitz. The program includes lectures, seminars for short presentations, departmental observations, as well as cultural studies tutorials and on-site field trips/courses / fieldwork.
