Initial response to the Upper Lusatian Energy Symposium 2017
The IPM was delighted to receive a visit from LEAG from the "Maintenance Management Power Plants" division.
As part of the 2017 Upper Lusatia Energy Symposium, a specialized event focused on “Maintenance Management,” contacts were established with LEAG’s “Power Plant Maintenance Management” division.
One initial outcome was a visit by LEAG colleagues to the Zittau campus of the university, where they toured the Zittau Power Plant Laboratory (ZKWL) and the Energy Technology Cabinet (ETK) on November 21, 2017.
At the ZKWL, the IPM provided information on current activities in externally funded research in the field of energy and the environment. The tour focused on the test benches for energy storage (THERESA and TCV) as well as the test bench for magnetic bearing technology (MFLP).
In addition to technological issues, aspects of maintenance were also discussed.
These events serve to facilitate the exchange of information and help deepen cooperation between industry and academia.
