Experience day for people with disabilities

On 30.05.2017, 14 students from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, under the guidance of Prof. Worbs and Prof. Fichna, organized an adventure day for people with disabilities as part of the "Social Work" project module at the Görlitzer Flugsportclub e.V. club grounds. 

The event was attended by 16 residents of the Diakoniewerk Oberlausitz e.V. residential home in Kemnitz, accompanied by the home's director Mr. Kern and group leader Mr. Scholz. The course of the adventure day was discussed over a cozy coffee table.

Various stations with a barefoot trail, T-shirt printing and the construction of musical instruments awaited the guests. They eagerly tinkered, discovered, sweated and laughed.

After the eventful afternoon and the evening barbecue, the adventure day culminated in making music together with the newly made instruments accompanied by a guitar. Our guests drove home in the evening, satisfied.
