Successful completion of internship

The office administration trainees at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences complete a 4-month industrial placement at MBE Maschinenbau GmbH in Eibau as part of their training program. There, they gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a company, with a focus on accounting.

The degree this year, as in previous years, is the defense of their final project. Ms. Luisa Görtz and Ms. Sandra Leupolt presented their final projects on the topics “Describe the structure of management accounting” and “The key steps and processes of the Syska Euro Fibu accounting program using MBE as an example,” as well as “Management Accounting: Does Theory Match Practice?” on February 10, 2015, and completed them with good results. Ms. Petra Schmidt, a faculty instructor from the university; Mr. Torsten Swoboda, the managing director; Ms. Kerstin Röbisch from the company’s accounting department; and the academic advisor, Dr. Christa Hanisch, attended this presentation. Both theoretical and practical approaches were vigorously discussed.
