At this year's training fair, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences was represented by the
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
For example, the digital product development process from CAD modeling to prototype construction using 3D printing, production simulation and measurement with a 3D scanner was demonstrated using an S-roll. The illustrative experiments from the field of fluid mechanics impressively showed how water and wind power is converted into energy. Information and demonstration measurements on natural radioactivity (especially radon) showed the traditions of radiation technology training.
Many of the predominantly young visitors tried out their strength and dexterity on the test set-ups for determining torque and speed on a Gyrotwister.
The exhibition was rounded off with interesting physical experiments.
Expert advice on study opportunities at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in particular rounded off the successful presentation of our university at the largest training fair in the district of Görlitz, which was praised by many visitors.
