From September 1 - 4, the mobile future lab "Fabmobil" will be in Zittau.
The Fabmobil is a mobile art, culture and future laboratory for Upper Lusatia. It is a double-decker bus equipped with digital technology and machine tools and offers workshops and courses for children and young people as well as adults. The aim of the Fabmobil is to bring creative technologies such as 3D printing, virtual reality, robotics and programming to rural areas. To vitalize and activate existing offers and to develop new digital and contemporary cultural and experience formats.
From September 1 to 4, , the Fabmobil will be making a stop at the Zittau market square. A workshop will be offered in which things are built with the help of light. Under guidance, 3D printers, laser cutters and other technologies will be used. There will also be the opportunity to explore the bus on Sunday afternoon and take part in guided tours.
